Genetics

ANDIAMO SEMILLY and Pénélope Leprévost have distinguished themselves in the most prestigious arenas, with placings up to the 1.60m. Notably, they finished 2nd at the CSI 3* in Maubeuge (1.60 m), 8th at the CSI 5* in Lausanne (1.55 m), and 6th at the CSIO 5* in Aachen, confirming consistent performance at the very highest level. His record also includes a 5th place at the CSI 4* in St-Tropez.

The “Landaise” suffix gave numerous outstanding performers for the ROGER family since the early 1960s. Breeders from generation to generation, it's a real true "french success breeding story". Coming out their first mare OLIVETTE (half-bred mare born in 1958): MILOR LANDAIS (winner in CSI 5* with P. Betteschen and sire of Olympic vice-champion SAMOURAI DU THOT), TIRANO LANDAIS (placed in 1.55 m Grand Prix classes in Switzerland), ESPOIR Z (formerly ESPOIR LANDAIS, individual and team Bronze Medalist at the Young Riders European Championships with Judy Ann Melchior), and UNE ÉTOILE LANDAISE (French National Champion with Eden Leprévost). Bearing different suffixes but also from this outstanding damline are the two uterine brothers TOTEM DE BRÉCEY (Olympic Games in eventing) and UT MAJEUR DE BRÉCEY (placed in1.60m), as well as CAYENE DE BOISQUILLON (placed in 1.60m).

Performances

HAPPY LANDAIS distinguished himself from the very beginning on the young horses circuit, earning several rankings at the age of 5 under the saddle of Matthias Hens in the national young horse classes and the Equilannoo Stallion Competition. At 6 years old, he confirmed his consistency with placings in 1.20 m stallion classes, already showing strength, scope, carefulness, and ease.

At 7 and 8 years old, he stepped up to the international young horses circuit, continuing his progression in CSI 2* and CSI 4* competitions. Ridden first by Marthe Heudens and later by Gilles Thomas, he placed regularly in classes up to 1.45 m throughout Europe.

Among his best results:

  • 2nd in the CSIYH 1* of Vejer de la Frontera (1.45 m)

  • 6th and 9th in the CSI 4* of Stockholm (1.45 m)

  • 7th in the CSI 4* of Liège (1.45 m)

  • 2nd in the CSI 4* of Maastricht (1.40 m)

Consistent and careful, he confirms his potential at the highest level and stands out as a modern, promising sport horse.

Breeding advice

He combines the qualities we value in the Selle Français: blood, an excellent temperament, and strength. He is expected to pass on suppleness and scope, with strong hock action.
